It was an ambitious double album made in 1987. It contained the most perfect Cure song ever: "Just Like Heaven". I bought it when it first came out on CD. Now it is remastered into a 2CD Deluxe Edition, which i happily double dipped for. It is The Cure's 'white album'. It contains, on a singular release, every perceived possibility of every genre or style of 'A Song By A Band'. It's title (these were the 80s) is frank, honest, insistent, direct & artistic. Oh yes, it sports one of the best cover art ever (that's Robert Smith's own blood red lips). It is that good, and you would be doing yourself a favour by simply purchasing it, displaying it & hopefully one day, listening to it & getting moved by it...Simply Elegant.
